Udderly Smooth Giveaway ~Closed~

I was so excited to review Udderly Smooth products!

These products are are made in the USA and pioneered by a pharmacist. The thick and creamy lotion goes on smooth.

The Udderly Smooth Udder Cream has a very light fragrance. It was originally developed for dairy cows. This would be your everyday, multipurpose lotion.

I have this in my bathroom to put on after showers. It's a good lotion that hydrates your skin. The fragrance is light so will not interfere with your perfumes or body sprays.

I also received the Udderly Smooth Original Udder Cream

The smaller tube is nice to keep in your purse or for traveling. The larger tube I keep on my nightstand to put on before I go to bed at night. This is a must for me in the winter.

I also received the Foot Cream

Udderly SMOOth® Foot Cream was the winner of Woman's Day Magazine's Best in Beauty for 2005

This has shea butter in it for added moisturizing benefits. This is great to soften dry feet in the winter and to keep on hand during the summer sandal season!

I was very pleased with the lotions and creams. It really did feel like it hydrated my skin long term instead of a feeling of temporary hydration. I loved the feel of the lotion (so thick and creamy). It felt like what good, quality lotion should feel like. I'm so excited to use this all winter long and not have the dry skin problem I had last winter.

I think with the adorable packaging, these would make a great gift this holiday season. The shipping was fast and customer service was excellent!

Rachel's Reviews and Giveaways~Prematurity Awareness Month

Rachel's Reviews and Giveaways is having a prematurity awareness event.

There will be giveaways there this month and you can grab a button for this event.

This is near and dear to my heart because my little stinker that I post pictures of on here now and then was a 1 lb baby born at 24 weeks. She only had a 10% chance of survival. She is amazing!

Not Another Chicken Recipe

Yes I have another chicken recipe and you will like it!

Okay, so I had a huge pack of chicken I had to use up this week. Plus I have not been baking much with all the Halloween candy laying around.

This is Stuffing Chicken

We call it Stephanie Chicken...
One of my kids always called stuffing, stephanie.

You can call it anything you want ;o)

Take a box of chicken flavored Stove Top Stuffing and either throw it in a ziplock bag and beat it until it's crumbs or put it through your food processor.

Dip chicken in melted butter with garlic salt.

Then dip into the ziplock bag full of beaten stuffing mix. I usually like to drizzle any leftover butter and/or stuffing mix on top. Bake at 350 for around 30 mins (depending on chicken size).

My father is very picky eater and I made this once for Easter at my house and he loved it. Nice easy go to recipe that your family or guests will be impressed with.

I served this with boxed macaroni and cheese (gasp!) store brand (double gasp) and potatoes and green beans. Only 1/3 of our family likes mashed potatoes so I don't make them often but I think this chicken is perfect for mashed potatoes!

The Cream Perfume Company Giveaway~ 2 WINNERS CLOSED

I couldn't help but use this picture

I was so excited to review products from The Cream Perfume Company.

I have been in a perfume rut. I needed something new. I was also tired of applying lotions and body sprays only to not smell them at all an hour or two later.

I had seen this company's products reviewed on other blogs with very positive responses. The one response that resonated with me is that a blogger had wrote that the scent lasts!

So I go and check out the company's website. Here is one of the things that I read...

We work exclusively with internationally renowned perfumers and the local artisans of Grasse to develop premium nature identical oil blends, ECOCERT certified organic essentials, absolutes and pure plant and fruit extracts. Our perfumes are all phthalate free and contain no sulfates, petro-chemicals, synthetic dyes, triclosan, GMO, PPG, MEA, DEA, TEA or formaldehyde donors. Our products are cruelty free.

Additionally, our perfumed body moisturizers are 100% vegan, wheat and gluten free, contain no glycol, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, synthetic additives or synthetic fragrances.

Sounds great doesn't it?

Here is what I was sent

                                                              Mimosa Bouquet

I don't normally like flower scents but this is not too flowery. My daughters loved it best.

I also got

                                                              Ylang Ylang d'amore

This had more of a sweeter and muskier smell that I ususally gravitate towards.

What I noticed about both of these fragrances was the lack of a chemical smell. You know how you go to the mall and spray a perfume to see if you like it and you have to let it sit for a few seconds and then smell it so it doesn't smell like alcohol? There isn't any alcohol smell, it's a very pure, clean smell. Very natural. These would also be easy to carry with you when you travel or in your purse without having to worry about mess. They come in wooden containers which make them stylish and unique.

I also received

                                               Lavender Body Moisturizer

I have a hard time remembering to apply lotion in the fall/winter when my skin gets so dry. This lotion smells so good, I WANT to apply it. I love lavender. I actually use lavender essential oil around my house frequently to clean. So I really love the scent. I had my son smell it too, because I just knew it was a scent he would love and he did. I don't think this is too feminine of a scent. I think a man could use it on his hands. Again, just a natural clean smell.

I would definately purchase from The Cream Perfume Company in the future.

Homemade Ranch Chicken Nuggets

I threw these together...

I cut up 2 very large chicken breasts into nugget pieces.

I grab a Ziplock bag and throw in a couple of cups of flour, a cup of breadcrumbs and tons of paprika.

Then I crushed a whole sleeve of garden vegetable Ritz crackers and added that to the flour/breadcrumb mixture as well as a packet of dry ranch mix.

I coated all the chicken pieces in milk (buttermilk would probably be better). Then coated in the flour mixture. Fry in a big pan with hot oil.

The kids loved it. I think the Ritz crackers were perfect touch to make this more crispy than my fried chicken normally comes out.

Sorry I don't have any measurements but I throw things together quite often and I made a big dinner that night. The baby was crying the whole time, and it was hard for me to concentrate. I felt like I was in Hell's Kitchen!

Garage Sale Find

Yes I found a garage sale!
And it was within walking distance of my house.

I bought the watercan for $1. I thought my little ones would like to plant something in it. Notice it comes with little mini tools. Too cute.

I also bought a Longaberger basket for $10. It's a cool basket that came with a divider, to hold silverware. I was glad to get it because we have almost all holidays at my house. I haven't had anything to put silverware in.

The garage sale had alot of nice things but everything was just too expensive. This is something that irks me. It's a garage sale, you need to price things cheap. Some people price things way too high. Honestly at those prices I can bargain shop and buy things brand new on clearance. Who's with me? Can I get a what what?
