Here is her 2nd Halloween. We call this costume "The Angry Bunny"

Now this isn't a good picture but we are finally moving on up. This year she is "The Confused Monkey" (but at least she isn't angry, I guess those baby anger management classes have finally paid off)

I love Costume Super Center. I'm always amazed by how fast the shipping is. 


My favorite is the kid's animal costumes. For some reason I think it's just adorable to see little babies and toddlers dressed in these animal costumes. My kids have always been obsessed with animal as toddlers.


Jasmine doesn't call monkeys, monkeys. She calls them "OOooh oooh ahhh ahhh"  -the sound a monkey makes.


When this costume arrived she didn't want to take it off. Now I have to hunt the house for the body part to the costume because hours later she eventually took it off somewhere? Anytime we even tried to take it off she would get mad.


What I love about Costume Super Center is the prices are affordable enough I can buy more than one costume. Children sometimes change their minds about what they want to be, or you have several Halloween functions to attend and I like being able to wear different costumes for functions and different weather conditions. We live in southern Ohio so sometimes Halloween is warm and sometimes it's VERY cold. 


It's also nice for her age to have several costumes on hand for play. She loves animals so having a monkey, a cat and a dog costume would be great for her because those are her favorite animals.

U-Stripe It Review

So simple a 9 year old can use it.

This my lovelies is the U-Stripe It painting tool. You can add stripes or lines to any room.

Vertical Lines- add height to a room
Horizontal Lines- add width (makes a room feel spacious)

I use to love watching Trading Spaces. Anyone remember that show? I remember seeing them paint stripes in rooms sometimes and I knew there was no way I could ever have that much patience, steady hand and creativity to do something like that.

This tool makes it super easy.

Tighten the wingnuts to adjust the width of the stripe you would like to have. Apply painters tape to the wall. Paint inside the painters tape and you have a stripe.

At first my aunt was going to do this in her home, but she got so busy with a new job that she gave it back to me since I did not want to keep the company waiting for a review. So I decided I would paint a stripe on the wall but now we are selling the house and moving. BUT I have another friend who is remodeling his house and my aunt is still interested so I hope to show you some pictures before too long.

My aunt is interested in painting a white stripe all around the top of her room (underneath the crown molding) to make the walls look taller in her dining room.

I love having a new t-shirt. T-shirts are something I never buy for myself and I ended up borrowing t-shirts from my son when I want to go to the gym. Paula Deen 5" and 7" Santoku Knife Set (CSN Stores Review)

I was so pleased to have teh chance to review Paula Deen's Santoku Knife set for CSN Stores!

I have horrible knives. A couple of times people have asked me what I wanted for my birthday or Christmas and I would say KNIVES. But I still never received any that I was impressed with.

Well look out my dear husband, mama has a new set of knives!

I have written before how I buy boneless skinless chicken breasts and cut them in half lengthwise to double the amount of breasts and reduce the cooking time.

Well I came home from the grocery store last night and had to cut the chicken like I always do and hate,  Oh my goodness it was so easy! It took no time at all, there was no struggling to get the chicken cut. You can read the reviews at the link, the reviews have spoken and these knives are wonderful.

I'm so happy that I ordered them and now I won't have to dread everytime I buy a watermelon or cantaloupe. I will be able to chop peppers and onions quickly!

The knives are made extremely well and they are heavy. I have never owned knives like these and now I would like to order more Paula Deen knives.

Maintenance Time with EdenFantasys

It's almost spring. I love it! My uniform could be tank tops and flip flops. Never realized that rhymes before. I must like to wear things that end in "ops". But it's a busy time for me as well. During the winter we are so covered up we don't need to wear body shimmers, bronzers or worry about shaving everywhere. My beauty maintenance really hits an all time low after Christmas. Bloated from egg nog and cookies, I semi-hibernate in jogging pants (all my pants are too tight).
